I have been working in this dental practice for over twenty-five years. I have a lot of front office experience. I like to take good care of all of Dr Chau's patients. I work with a great team, and I think that's what makes this practice so special.
I was born and raised in this area. I have been married to my husband, John, for thirty years. We have three boys and three grandchildren. I also work at the YMCA as an aerobics instructor. I see some of our patients in my classes. It's a great feeling of community.
I love the San Francisco Giants. I love to garden, play my guitar, read, make jewelry. I have three Jack Russell Terriers, who I adore. I love the ocean and a full moon. Family is most important to me..

Financial Coordinator
I have been in the dental field for almost 20 years, during which time I’ve gained so much valuable experience working in the front office, dealing with dental claims, and helping patients maximize their insurance benefits.
I grew up in a small town in Lassen County, but the only thing really notable about my hometown is the two prisons, lol. No, really, I grew up in an area full of outdoor activities so that’s what I love to do in my free time. I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my two cats, Champ and Safari – oh yeah, and my kids too! I really love supporting them in all of their endeavors.
At Dr Chau's office, I find that each day brings different challenges, and different joys, always an adventure. And I love our team, each person is a clinical expert, and everyone cares so much for our patients, I think it’s in their DNA!
Hygienist
I have been in dentistry for over two decades. I began my career as a dental assistant before returning to school to become a registered dental hygienist. I am passionate about providing gentle comprehensive care to all our patients. My dedication to oral health led me to pursue further education in dental hygiene by working in both periodontal and prosthodontic specialties. My focus is on empowering individuals with knowledge to make informed decisions about their oral care and overall health. Outside of dentistry, I am deeply committed to my family and friends. I treasure spending time with them and am always looking for ways to create meaningful memories together. Family means everything to me!

For nearly a decade, I’ve had the privilege to walk the line where science meets the soul. First as a nursing assistant, then a dental assistant, and now as a dental hygienist at Dr. Chau’s Dental Office. My journey through the medical field has been rooted in a simple philosophy: that care is both an art and a responsibility. Every smile I help protect is more than just teeth, gums and bone; it's also your story and a reflection of health, confidence, and connection that you not only share with me but the world.
With my years of hands-on medical experience, I believe in not only bringing skill, but also a presence. So allow me to ease your nerves, answer your every question and make your every visit feel a little brighter along with those teeth.

Registered Dental Assistant Extended Function 2
I have been in the dental field for twenty-eight years. Sixteen of those years have been with this practice. I hold an extended license in dentistry that allows me to place all restorations, permanently deliver appliances, complete root canals, and take all master impressions. I am passionate about dentistry and patient care.
My interests are golfing, skiing, motorcycle trips, and I enjoy family and friends.
Assistant
I am a passionate Dental Assistant with two years of experience in general dentistry. I genuinely love helping patients feel confident and comfortable with their dental care. I have always believed that leading with love and compassion can make a real difference in someone’s life, no matter how big or small it may be.
Originally from Cartagena, Colombia, but I have called the Bay Area home for the past 13 years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones and my dog Teddy, trying new foods and recipes, dancing, and exploring the world.
What I enjoy most about my work is building real connections with patients. I love getting to know them, answering their questions, and providing personalized care that makes them feel truly supported and at home.

Practice Manager
After spending 20 years in Software Engineering and Finance in the Bay Area, I am very proud to be supporting my talented wife, Dr Judy Chau, in bringing her expert dental care to the wonderful community of Terra Linda and the greater Marin County. Being part of a practice that has a legacy of community involvement and compassionate care brings me satisfaction on a daily basis. When I see the benefit that our patients receive from Dr Chau and the rest of the team, it makes me proud to be a part of what we are trying to achieve. I love to see patients, who come to us in times of pain or distress, leave with a sense of relief and satisfaction.
When I am not at work, I am enjoying time with our two young children, teaching them how to navigate life, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. We love to hike, camp, bike, and beach, and couldn't ask for a better location to do it than right here in Marin.
